The Feeling Of Wanting To Have What Someone Else Has

Don’t let our emotions bring us down. We often spent time analyzing on what someone else’s has and what we don’t have. Admit that sometimes we count someone achievements, instead of our own and if someone happiness and achievements bother you, I tell you this feeling is not good, it is time-consuming and this will lead us into suffering and much negativity. If you want to live positively, then we should start learning how to minimize this feeling in our life. Start from stop comparing yourself to others, look at what you have done and what you have now instead. See how far you have come and used this as a tool to plan ahead and set a new goal to achieve. Think that if someone can do it, for sure you can do it too! Be happy for someone achievements and be grateful for all the things that you have. If you found yourself sitting in one corner most of the time then you should get a life. Explore new things around, fill in your life with more activities, meet people and learn something new. This will make us more positive and emotionally stable.

  1. I used to do this all the time until I realised that I was loosing a lot of blessings and opportunities while comparing what others have to myself. Till date, I stopped, did things that made me happy and congratulated my friends instead of being envious….

  2. I totally agree with this post. An idle mind is the devil’s playground. We cannot and shall not compare because we don’t know what the other person went through to get to where he/she is.
